1. Definitions
"Book-Go", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Transfer Booking Company SIA (Reg. 40203591780), the operator of the Book-Go platform. "Customer", "you" and "your" refer to any person making a booking through our website or other channels. "Service" means the private ground transfer arranged through Book-Go. "Driver" and "Carrier" refer to the licensed transport provider performing the Service.
2. Scope of service
Book-Go is a booking platform that connects customers with licensed ground transport providers. We arrange private airport, ski-resort, city-to-city and VIP transfers. We act as an intermediary and booking agent; the Service itself is performed by the assigned Carrier under their own operating licences and insurance.
3. Bookings and quotes
Prices shown at the time of booking are indicative and based on the information you provide (route, date, time, number of passengers and luggage). The price becomes final and binding only once we send you a written confirmation (e-mail) with the total fare and pickup details. We reserve the right to adjust the price if booking information later proves incorrect or incomplete (e.g. additional passengers, extra luggage, modified route, waiting time, tolls, overnight or holiday surcharges).
Bookings must be made at least 12 hours before pickup. For shorter notice we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee availability.
4. Payment
At checkout you may choose to pay the full fare or a non-refundable deposit of 25%. The remaining balance is then due on the day of the transfer, in cash to the driver or by bank card if the vehicle is equipped for it. Card payments are processed through Stripe; we do not store full card details.
All prices are quoted in Euro (EUR) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Bank charges, currency conversion fees and third-party booking fees (if any) are borne by the customer.
5. Cancellations and changes
- More than 72 hours before pickup — full refund of any amount paid, minus a 5 EUR administration fee.
- Between 72 and 24 hours before pickup — the 25% deposit is retained; any additional amount paid is refunded.
- Less than 24 hours before pickup, no-shows, or wrong pickup information provided by the customer — no refund.
- Changes to date, time, route or passenger count are subject to availability and may affect the price.
Refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method.
6. Pickup, waiting time and delays
The driver will arrive at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time. For airport pickups, the driver monitors the flight and waits up to 60 minutes after the actual landing time at no extra cost. For all other pickups, free waiting time is 15 minutes. Beyond these limits an hourly waiting fee applies (typically 30 EUR per hour, charged in 15-minute increments).
We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure, weather, road closures, traffic, accidents, strikes, customs or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Luggage
The fare includes one standard suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger. Skis, snowboards, bicycles, child seats, oversized or fragile items must be declared at the time of booking and may incur additional charges or require a larger vehicle. We reserve the right to refuse transport of items not declared in advance if they do not fit the vehicle safely.
8. Passenger conduct
Passengers must wear seat belts at all times. Smoking, consumption of alcohol (unless agreed in advance for VIP services), drug use and any behaviour endangering the driver or other passengers are strictly prohibited. The driver may refuse or terminate the Service in case of abusive, threatening or unlawful behaviour without refund. Any damage caused to the vehicle (including cleaning costs for soiling) will be invoiced to the customer.
9. Children
In accordance with European road-safety regulations, children under 135 cm must travel in an appropriate child seat. Please request child seats at the time of booking. A small surcharge may apply.
10. Insurance and liability
All vehicles are fully insured for passenger transport in accordance with the applicable national legislation of the Carrier. Book-Go acts as a booking agent and its liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (missed flights, missed connections, loss of earnings, accommodation costs) arising from delays or cancellations caused by force majeure or third parties.
11. Lost property
Please check the vehicle for personal belongings before leaving. Book-Go will use reasonable efforts to recover and return items left in the vehicle but cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged property. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
12. Personal data
We process personal data (name, contact details, pickup and drop-off information, payment data) solely to provide and confirm the Service, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data may be shared with the assigned Carrier and our payment processor (Stripe). You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
13. Complaints
Any complaint regarding the Service should be sent in writing to transferbookingcompany@gmail.com within 14 days of the transfer date. We aim to respond within 7 working days.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Latvia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the customer's country of residence within the European Union.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the moment of your booking applies to that booking. The latest version is always available on this page.
